Slideshows Uploaded to YouTube and Picasa

I've uploaded the slideshows from Susan's Memorial To Life to YouTube and Picasa. YouTube displays the slideshow video, just as it was played during the memorial service. Picasa displays the individual slides, so you can download individual pictures or have them made into prints. Note that there are seven slideshows even though only six were used during the service - to limit the service to two hours the slideshow "They Just Want You to Be There", about Susan's furry children, was omitted.

If you have a high speed internet link you can select 720p as the display resolution in YouTube for "High Definition". The quality is really superb. You can access the YouTube slideshow videos here.

The entire memorial service was video recorded live. It will take a few more weeks to edit all the material. A two DVD set of the memorial service will then be published, disk 1 of the live material and disk 2 of the slideshow videos. I will let you know when they become available and how to obtain them.

It has been a true labor of love to prepare these slideshows. May they continue to give you comfort in your loss and joy in your remembrance of a life fully lived.

Special Rates at Weber's Inn for Out-of-towners

Natalie has gotten a discount package at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor for all the out-of-town guests who will need a hotel for Susan's memorial. Just mention Susan Wolf Sternberg. Weber's is the nicest hotel in Ann Arbor, and it's less than 15 minutes from Dexter. Here's a link to their website.

Please note, the RSVP function on this site requires that you become a member of this blog. To do this, click 'Join Site to RSVP' and click the button labeled 'Follow' on the top right of the window that is opened. You will then be asked to sign in using your Google, Yahoo or Twitter account. Lastly, the window that opened will now offer the selection of whether or not you will able to attend the event.

While you don't need to RSVP to attend the memorial, it is helpful in estimating what will be needed, and it would be nice to know you are on your way.

Tribute to Susan Published Today

A lengthy tribute to Susan has been published today in the obituaries section of AnnArbor.com, formerly the Ann Arbor News. We are certain that Susan would be very pleased!

Susan's Memorial To Life set for March 21, 2010

Susan's Memorial To Life will take place on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Ann Arbor St., Dexter, Michigan 48130. The room at the Senior Center is large, bright and cheery and very informal; an excellent fit to how Susan wanted it to be. We will be setting up chairs in rows for the service itself and there is another large area with tables and chairs for light refreshments after the service. Susan's memorial is open for participation by all of her loving family and friends. Please think about how you would like to contribute to the service. Information on how to be included in the program will be posted very soon.
